Objectives for Ward 2 and Tombstone

I like Tombstone just the way it is today!

I love our City and it's rich history and I don't want any major changes.  I want to preserve our city and help it thrive for the long haul.

I believe we should maintain the current balance between residential and commercial activities.

I have regularly reviewed Council Agendas and published Meeting Minutes over the years. I understand our issues.

Many residents in Tombstone live on fixed incomes, therefore we must manage our municipal funds efficiently.

Tighten our financial controls.
Balanced budgets become more difficult as inflation continues to eat away both our family and our tax dollars.
Must keep a close eye on the budget!

Prioritize needed infrastructure expenditure (Law, Fire, Medical, Water, Sewer and Roads).

Tombstone's economy and finances depend upon a healthy Allen Street business district.

Let's work together to make Tombstone an annual must visit destination.

I will work with the Chamber and other groups to strengthen promotion of Tombstone as a unique and exciting vacation and special event destination.

I support creative initiatives to promote Tombstone as a unique destination for corporate conferences and special interest groups, leading to annual repeat visits.

I like Allen Street the way it is today, with the dirt! (I still have my “Save the Dirt” T-shirt from the old days).

I am open to ideas that would bring more business to Allen Street, but I do not want to hurt Tombstone's current character.

Please get in touch with any questions, concerns, or ideas for City improvements!
